"When our daughter, Amy Marlene, passed away, we established a Donor Advised Fund in her memory at the Jewish Community Foundation. Amy was passionate about art. She loved to paint, take photographs and create jewelry. Professionally, she worked as a graphic designer and an art teacher, helping kids see the world with sketch pads and pastels. The pain of losing a daughter is deep and ever present, and this fund is very important to us. The fund provides a way for friends and family to make charitable donations in Amy’s memory and allows us to support art teachers throughout the country. It is our way of keeping Amy’s spirit alive and encouraging the next generation of artists."
